"Do or Do Not. There is no try" has become the foundation phrase for the companies within the emagine group. Many of us know this phrase from the Star Wars movies that have captured our hearts. When Yoda gave this truth to Luke Skywalker, it was at a time when he needed to believe in himself to overcome a barrier in his own self-confidence, that was stopping him from achieving his objective. Three years ago, when a group of individuals came together to take the first step, it was with this truth as its foundation. And so was born, emagine consulting, the marketing, operations and strategy management consultancy.
Our first year of operations saw the first expansions with the launching of iMedia, a focused organization to cater to the design, advertising, branding and web development, and e-Architects to meet the expanding technology demands of organizations. e-Architects provided organizations with a trusted and experienced resource center to outsource their technology infrastructure, including hardware, security and managed services.
The second year of operations brought another organization into the expanding corporate service portfolio. 4SquarePeg provides organizations with a diverse human resource management services including payroll management, recruitment, and temporary resource placement. In June of 2004, emagine consulting, iMedia, e-Architects and 4SquarePeg were brought under the banner of the emagine group, a corporate operations and research center. With the formation of the emagine group, the individual organizations concentrated on their respective service portfolios, while the corporate arm provided marketing and operations support and the development of future ventures.
In 2005, the business services portfolio for the emagine group was completed with tesla communications and the acqusition of Wicked Code. tesla communications provides fiber optic and telecommunications deployment and management services for DSL, broadband and cable television. Additionally, tesla communications provides deployment, testing and commissioning services for corporate communications, call centers, with specialized experience in Voice over IP. Alternatively, Wicked Code was initially founded in 2003 using business incubation services and initial capital financing from emagine consulting. Wicked Code has worked in the background with emagine consulting and e-Architects to develop a wide variety of client/server and online business applications, including Enterprise, a module-based Customer Management application. During the past year, the emagine group started the re-distribution of ownership from emagine consulting, completing the acquisition in December of 2005.
While building the organizations of the group, we have also secured long lasting strategic alliances with domestic and international hardware and software vendors, like FlexiServ, globalSCAPE, Lavasoft USA, 2B Technologies, and emailLabs. These alliances provide the critical complimentary services to complete the solution offerings from the individual emagine group companies.
