Is Hamid Karzai asleep at the wheel again?

Well, it seems that he has surrendered to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda to secure his continued Puppetidency. Local news and some international outlets have reported that, and let me get this right, on Saturday, the Afghanistan parliament passed a bill to give amnesty for groups involved in war crimes, including Taliban and Mujahideen fighters. And if that isn’t bad enough, it is the second such bill passed by the parliament. Last month, a similar bill was passed giving immunity to all Afghanis involved in any of the many conflicts that the country has participated in.

Let me get this straight, the US attacked Afghanistan to bring down the Taliban, because they were providing safe haven to Al-Qaeda (don’t they want them anymore? Is the US giving up the hunt for Osama?). The US then installed a puppetident to bring “oil-ocracy.” The Puppetident staged an election that brought together a National Parliament… and there was much rejoicing.

But the National Parliament was made of some interesting characters. There were the leaders of the Taliban, the Mujahideen, criminals, and warlords sitting in the most powerful house in the country. No longer were they fighting the law, there were the law now. There was still some rejoicing…

Then the Coalition Forces took a beating in some of the provinces so they gave those provinces back to the Taliban… The members in the parliament smiled…. there was still some rejoicing… then the poppy cultivation took off again and there was a different kind of rejoicing…

The Puppetident, seeing that there is turmoil in the country, starts blaming his neighbor for letting people into the make-believe kingdom. It’s always easier to blame your neighbor than admit your own faults. Think I am wrong? Just ask the Israelis.

The Puppetident, knowing that he has the US behind him, goes on international media and claims that all the problems in Afghanistan are Pakistan’s fault and that President Musharraf isn’t doing enough to bring stability to Afghanistan.

Let’s not forget that Pakistan has given $300 million to Afghanistan for its reconstruction, even though it has suffered through a massive earthquake. Pakistan also continues to provide over $1.3 billion in bilateral trade. And the continued military aid and support from the 80,000 Pakistan Army soldiers on the Pak-Afghan border.

Seeing that his accusations had fallen on deaf ears, the Puppetident, fearing that his make-believe kingdom is about to collapse, gives amnesty to all the people that the Coalition Forces came to Afghanistan to fight…. and there was silence.

Puppetident Karzai praised parliament’s “important initiative” to promote national reconciliation and stability.

In South Waziristan, Pakistan is not giving amnesty to anyone. In Quetta, Pakistan is not giving amnesty to anyone. In Peshawar, Pakistan is not giving amnesty to anyone. If you supported the Taliban, you are wanted.

Yet, Puppetident Karzai gives them all amnesty and silence from everyone.

And they say “Pakistan isn’t doing enough.”

Somebody wake up Hamid Karzai, the press is waiting for another sound bite.

Karzai is a UN man. This is the UN way. The same will happen in Iraq because it is now a UN run country. Getting America to do their dirty work keeps their image glossy and turns the world against America. Americans in general are kept in the dark by the UN controlled media.

Now, if Pakistan were to take Afghanistan and kick the slimy UN out of there . . .
